GPersonal Branding Helps You Glow Your Own Way
rowing up on a farm, the word “branding” basically meant a hot iron rod and a rather sore cow. Nowadays, in my role as a personal image expert and jewellery stylist, I support you in a very different “breed” of branding that’s essential in business to distinguish you from the rest, to help you create your own signature style of visual self-presentation that
makes an indelible impact and keeps you top of mind.
It all starts with that first impression. Seven seconds is all it takes to make that powerful difference. Almost instantaneously, your potential client has already made their
assessment of you as a person based on your appearance. Before there’s even a chance for words, never mind actions, their eye is naturally drawn to the brightest, most
brilliant object you’re wearing, be it a uniquely classic necklace or a boldly-coloured pair of earrings.
Your jewellery choices convey creativity, ingenuity, pride in your individuality, and courage in tasteful self-expression. Above all, they speak to your self-confidence, the
very foundation of your personal brand, so knowing how to accessorize is critical. It’s an expression of your brand that does the talking even when you’ve yet to open your
mouth. Stylish, personally flattering, quality pieces can give you the unassailable self-esteem necessary to rule your world!
Such lofty dreams were the furthest thing from my adolescent mind, as the nice, quiet girl next door afraid to stand out, try anything new, or
attract attention. Despite my creativity and artistic talent, fear held me back for years until, one day, I was suddenly shocked to see myself
through the eyes of my children, a frumpy, frazzled. lonely mom toting two toddlers and a new baby. Not only had I lost myself,
I realized I’d never truly found the real me!
Knowing my children needed me to model courage
and authenticity, I took that crucial step outside my comfort zone and began a career in image
enhancement and personal branding. Now, I also
mentor others wanting to shine as successful, independent businesswomen in the art of strategic
visual styling and jewellery sales. I’ve finally found that what inspires me in both my personal and professional life
is the concept of family: people helping people. Engaging me as your personal branding expert is as
important as working with any other professional to grow your business. Your personal brand sets you apart, making you a role
model in the way you confidently present yourself as a force to be reckoned with. Ladies, it’s time to glow your own way!
