Una de las formas más comunes de prevenir la propagación de un
incendio en el trabajo, es usando un extintor de incendios.
La habilidad de un empleado para reaccionar rápidamente y usar el
extintor en forma apropiada, puede marcar la diferencia en minimizar
las pérdidas por incendio y reducir las amenazas de lesiones persona-
les.

Los trabajadores que usan extintores deben estar familiarizados con
los principios generales del uso de los mismos y los peligros presentes
en apagar un incendio en su etapa inicial.
