          CHIPP

          EGO is excited to announce that due to Soror
          Mary Ann Flowers' commitment and persistence,
          EGO has established a partnership with First Mis-
          sionary Baptist church and its Missionary Socie-
          ty. This partnership will enable EGO to extend its
          CHIPP program through June during summer
          school for students at Dawson Elementary School
          and through the 24-25 academic year. Five of the
          twenty-five students currently enrolled in the
          CHIPP program at Dawson will attend summer
          school and will receive a CHIPP pack each
          Thursday in June.

           Youth Leadership Institute Closing Session

           Sorors Epsilon Gamma Omega's Youth Leadership Institute
           (YLI) held it's closing session on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at
           the Agricultural Research Center on the campus of Alabama
           A&M University. Both students and parents were present for
           this session where students were given encouraging remarks
           from Soror Tonya Wood, Basileus and Soror Marian Guidry,
           Anti-Basileus and were presented with certificates of partici-
           pation. The students presented their final presentation that showcased the modules that students were en-
           gaged in from August 2023 to May 2024. These modules included focuses on self awareness, leadership
           skills, team building, entrepreneurship, nutrition and wellness and much more. They also completed ser-
           vice activities that included tree planting and visiting the elderly committee at Regency Retirement Vil-
           lage during the Christmas holiday. The students and parents also gave remarks about the impact of YLI.
           Sorors, your support of this program is much appreciated. If you have children or know children ages 11-
           13, and would like them to be a part of this program, please contact Co-Leads, Jacqueline Frost and
           LaToya Patton. Our next session will begin in August 2024 and we are looking forward to another im-
           pactful year. Please support the YLI program as we work toward the goal of "Empowering Our Families"
