A challenge was put forth to Epsilon Gamma Omega to assist the
administration of the Von Braun Center (VBC) with the Family Fun
Festival & Expo. This was a free event held Saturday, June 6, 2015,
filled with activities for children. Of course, EGO stepped up to the
challenge! Only 50 volunteers were needed and over 70 signed up!
Sorors arrived dressed in their AKA paraphernalia and were on hand
for the inflatables, train ride, photo booth, play yard and the stage area.
Since EGO stepped up to the challenge, the VBC made a $1,500
donation to our chapter! Target I: Educational Enrichment and Target
V: Global Impact agreed to lead this effort, therefore, the $1,500
donation will be used to assist Target I with the One Million
Backpacks effort and Target V with a trip to the UN in New York for their program students at Columbia
High School.
