The Heritage Jubilee concert was a success. The program consisted of a one-hour presentation of Classical, Gospel, and Negro
Spirituals along with Poetic Movements. The college was pleased, and those who attended were so super-charged that they gave us a

standing ovation. My father and Ms. Josie enjoyed it immensely. Daddy actually cried; he was so proud. It was a marvelous welcome

for the return of a hometown girl.
