While at Rosenwald, I was voted “Teacher of the Year,” an honor that I was extremely ecstatic to receive. I felt that being

chosen by my peers was an outstanding accomplishment! Thank you, Jesus! I stood with Ms. Macon (center), who was Teacher

of the Year for the Intermediate Department at Rosenwald, and Dr. Ruby Hendrix, Principal, as they congratulated me
being named “Teacher of the Year” for Rosenwald Exceptional Center in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
