He always encourages his children to be respectful and loving toward their grandmother, and they affectionately call me, “Nana Pat.”
I find their expressions of love for me touching and heartwarming.
“A Tribute to Nana Pat”
~ By Kamhi (Kamili’s Son) ~
What do you see?
What do you see when you look at me?
Is it Love, is it Hope, is it Faith?
Or the deadly toll I paid due to
My wraith
My mind is open, creative and
I owe it to you constantly implying
I am sufficient
Your grace is enough to end all pain
Influencing youth with knowledge
To gain
The struggles you've overcome
Were only a process, the process
Of life
So now I know what you see
The son of your son a growing tree
