I pondered this entrepreneurial endeavor, and it came to me that in actuality, God had ordered my steps from my mother’s womb
because from the time I was born, the Performing Arts had been my life’s theme. These scriptures came to mind:

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Then, you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all

                                                                         your heart.

                                                                 Jeremiah 29:11-13 (NIV)

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, And before you were born I consecrated you; I have appointed you a prophet unto the

                                                                          nations.
                                                                   Jeremiah 1:5 (NASB)

It seems that all my life, the performing arts and teaching special needs students have been God’s gifts to me. It is evident because I
have enjoyed every step: falling, failing, finding my way, friendless at times, but fortunate most of the time – always looking to God

who is the “Author and Finisher” of my faith. Of course, learning from God’s wisdom and training myself to be obedient to His
commandments had not come easy. I am glad that I have reaped the benefits of His love, mercy, and grace throughout my life.

Mrs. Doris Thomas was my Prophetess, Angel, and Teacher. It was Mrs. Thomas who knew me in high school and witnessed the
extra-curricular activities that were a part of my high school training. At her suggestion and with her encouragement, my program

began. These were her words: “Pat, what are you waiting for? Why don’t you start your own performing arts company?” My reply
was, “Mrs. Thomas, I do not have a building.” She said, “You have a big room in your house. Start there.” This was confirmation

because Mrs. Jesse Green-James at that first workshop had said the same thing. I replied, “Do you think parents will allow or bring

their children to my house for classes?” She said, “I dare you to try it! I know it will work.” I still wasn’t convinced until two weeks
