Our Love Story as Told to Me by Carl

After the devastating Hurricane Andrew struck Miami in August of 1992, Carl began to move around the country looking for a place

to reside. His home had been destroyed by the vicious hurricane. He was so overwhelmed by the destruction that he decided it was
time to relocate somewhere in Florida or to another city in the United States. He was sure he didn’t want to stay in Miami. For months

he traveled the country, trying to determine where he should plant his feet.

After touring California, North Carolina, and Maryland, Carl returned to Miami, dissatisfied about living in either state. When he

landed in Miami, he said he heard the voice of God clearly give him instructions to drive North up the coast of Florida. He said, “God
told me He would let me know where to stop. Sure enough, when I reached Orlando in Orange County, Florida, God said, ‘Stop

here’.” Carl obeyed the leading of the Lord and commented, “Little did I know at the time, I was heading for the most intriguing
adventure of my life, full of peace, joy, and a whole lotta love.”

Upon his arrival in Orlando, he decided to call one of his best Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, friends who he had known for a very long
time. They had worked together in the airline business as skycaps, which was a great paying job because it had great tips! His friends,
