per room, the known world began to change! They did not bask in the glow of what
had taken place, they knew to "go and make disciples..."
Am I suggesting that we shouldn't have blessed worship services, which touch the
hearts and minds of our people? Is it inappropriate to thank the pastor for a
timely message? Is it wrong to say "Wow, the Holy Spirit really spoke through you
today!" Is it wrong to go the worship leader after service and say, "great job you
guys really helped us get into the Holy of Holies this morning." NO, NO, NO, that
is not what I'm saying at all. Hear my heart please, all of these things are good,
but should not be the sole criteria in measuring the spiritual health of the church
or body of Christ (or each of us individually).
Are we ministering in a way that ultimately affects the world? Is our Lord's kingdom
advancing? Not only is the Word being preached, but also is Christ being modeled by
those receiving the Word? As we stray from these truths, we stray from the true,
biblical mandate presented in scripture...
"Go ye into all the world and make disciples of every nation"
