          IV.     BEST PRACTICES
              ▪ Faculty members have the opportunity to browse, select and
                 recommend books during “Book Fair” which is regularly

                 conducted at the University Library every year.
              ▪ To improve library’s collection, the library keeps on requesting for
                 donations
              • to supplement available references.
              ▪ The collection is organized systematically using the Dewey
                 Decimal Classification System.             The collection which includes
                 books,      unpublished       materials      and     articles/clippings      from
                 periodicals are also encoded in the Online Public Access catalog
                 (OPAC) for easy access and retrieval of information sources.

              ▪ Materials which have damaged but are still useful are
                 immediately mended/repaired for the utilization of library clientele.
