FICTION AND NON FICTION
NARRATIVE TEXT
Fiction
Fictional narrative texts are stories that are made up or
imaginative. These stories do not necessarily have to be
based on real events and often involve characters, plots,
and settings created by the author. Some examples of
fictional narrative texts include:
1.Novel: A long prose narrative typically divided into
chapters with a complex plot and developed characters.
2.Folk Tale: Stories passed down through generations,
often reflecting the cultural beliefs and values of a
community.
3.Fairy Tale: Traditional stories often featuring magical or
fantastical elements, passed down orally from generation
to generation.
4.Fable: Short stories that use animals as main characters
to convey a moral or life lesson.
5.Legend: Stories often based on historical figures or
events but embellished with fantasy or mythological
elements.
