       APPIN SKIFF COMMUNITY
       PROJECT
       Work has been progressing well over the winter
       to fit out the inside of the skiff. The gunwales are
       complete, the frames for the thwarts (seats) are
       fixed, the thwarts are being fitted and the timber
       footrests are being made. The inside of the hull
       has been sealed ready for painting. The wood for
       the rudder and the oars has been cut – ready for
       the next stage. Nelly G’s hull number plate has
       been fitted – UK155 – which is another milestone
       reached!




       APPIN FEIS  NEWS                     FASNACLOICH GUN CLUB
                                            NEWS
       Feis numbers are good and steady with a good
       flurry of wee ones into Feis bheag! At the Feis we  Saturday 23 November saw Colin Rowan, Denis
       offer Flute, Clarsach, Whistle, Low D Whistle,  Davitt,  John  Mackin,  Paul  Ferguson  and  John
       Pipes,  Chanter,  Guitar,  Music  Technology,  Jackson  travel  over  to  Mull  representing
       Highland  Dance,  Gaelic  Cofaidh  and  Craic,  Fasnacloich Gun Club competing in the district
       Accordion, Fiddle and group work and a Creative  team  shoot.  Some  excellent  individual  scores
       Slot for the more competent player!   contributed to a first win for the club. Thanks
                                            must be given to generous hosts, Mull Gun Club.
       With  regret,  however,  Saturday  Feis  is  now
       cancelled owing to Coronavirus.      Iain MacLeod Memorial Shoot on 28 December

       It  is  hoped  instead  that  some  form  of  online
