StratusWEB PHONE
StratusWEB PHONE is a browser based softphone that utilizes the WebRTC standard. This softphone
requires no additional software installation. Once enabled, a user can just open the interface and start dialing.
Notes:
The StratusWEB PHONE is not downloadable, it is only accessbale through a web browswer.
StratusWEB PHONE will only work in browsers that support WebRTC functionality. SpectrumVoIP
recommends using the Google Chrome browser.
Getting started:
StratusWEB PHONE may be accessed by clicking the direct link in the top of the Stratus Portal screen or
directly navigating to https://stratus.spectrumvoip.com/webphone
Granting Permission to the Microphone
When first launching StratusWEB PHONE, the browser will prompt you to grant access to the microphone.
This prompt will look different based on the browser being used as the prompt is generated by the browser, not
the Portal.
Enabling Inbound Calls via StratusMobile Web
When first launching StratusMobileWeb; if the current answering rule is configured to ring only the your
extensions; a message will be displayed asking whether you would like to enable StratusMobileWeb to receive
inbound calls.
If you have a custom answering rule that utilizes a timeframe other than Default and is configured to ring only
the your extensions; the following message will be displayed, telling you that the phone may not be configured
to receive all incoming calls.
StratusMobileWeb Views
Once logged in there are three different views that are available to the user: Contacts, Voicemail and Call
History.
