PIANO AND THEM MOON
behind black eyelids, the Piano is struck. the sound fills my head, an empty ballroom.
drawing back the curtains, the ballroom is filled with light. not of the sun, but of the stars of the Moon that shines bright and heavy.
the Moon reaches out her hand, and now we are dancing. floating like a river a stream, soft and iridescent. a moment where the Moon and the Piano are the only things filling my head.
echoing and touching the walls of my mind, waltzing along the floor, toes barely touching the surface. beneath me the ground rings with the steady sound of the piano.
a song played in the brightest of nights, a poem written in the latest of nights. words and chords and letters and keys weave together like a blanket sewn together with the finest of thread.
it covers me a melody of the Piano, and the weight of the Moon.
