I like the universe
I like universal thoughts because they remind us that there is always something bigger than we are Something bigger than our failing friendships
Something bigger than our falling grades
Something bigger than failing health
Something bigger than faltering mental health Something bigger than fake news
Something bigger than face changes
Something bigger than the worldly unjust
Something bigger than us, The little ants of the universe;
It blows my mind
We could blow up any second And yet we still waste time We waste the time that is the one thing we all have and cannot afford to lose
We are so caught up in rushing, hushing, blushing, fussing
Over the many things we cannot control
It blows my mind
We stay up for hours doing what we don’t want to do Because it’s what we need to do.
