God gave us a beautiful planet on which to live, and no matter at what time period we occupy it, we must look at the world with eyes of wonderment and joy—just as chil- dren do—not with fear and suspicion.
Particularly in the workplace, where we share ideas and establish long-term relationships, we must cultivate a cli- mate of love, compassion, understanding, and a spirit of togetherness, as never before.
In our questions below, we provide the basis for each chapter of this book. It is our hope that present and future generations will derive inspiration from our reflections on the global pandemic of 2020 and the lessons that it has of- fered to us. Specifically, we will address the changes that have occurred in our work habits and social behaviors in this extraordinary period and demonstrate to God that we have learned our lesson.
We will examine how various work environments have adapted to pandemic conditions, in various fields, and how employers and employees have acclimated to new ways of interacting.
