The Master of the Universe is asking the question, “who do you want to become, and how do you want future gen- erations to live?” What we do today has a direct effect on what happens tomorrow. Every day of our lives, we are
responsible for a domino effect of events that can deter- mine the quality of life on earth for us and also for genera- tions to come. God has presented us with this tragic pan- demic— whether it was intentionally or negligently caused by human beings—to provide us with a trial. We must rise to the occasion or face serious future consequences. We have an awesome burden, but we are also empowered to make things right and live together as one human family, not as separate entities, going on with our lives like ma- chines without hearts.
Since we spend more time at work than we do at home, the workplace is a wonderful venue to start the collective change for a better world. In this TLC For the Workplace manual, we focus on how we can improve work habits and behaviors, how to act and react toward each other, our manner of speaking (without sarcasm or hurtful re- marks), and social practices that will take every business to the next level—not only in terms of profits, but also so- cially and spiritually. Of course, when we come home to our spouses and families, we must continue to practice the same principles. With that goal in mind, we provide ex- amples of various workplaces and the trends that are mak- ing them successful and prosperous after the COVID-19 era and beyond.
