THE LOVE TECHNIQUE IS THE ANSWER
In our “AC” world model, the workplace will look quite different. Physical separation will become part of daily life. For those who cannot work independently, a once spacious office in which people typically sat together “BC” will be more restricted. However, being alone does not have to mean isolation. We will still be able to have meet- ings and exchange ideas, although physical gatherings will be smaller and less frequent.
Modern technology will play a vital role in facilitating conversation. Instead of seeing each other face-to-face, we may, at times, be separated by a screen—which will serve as a protective barrier, similar to the plexiglass shield, dis- cussed above. That kind of barricade does not foreclose the flow of ideas. On the contrary, it opens our minds to actively and creatively work and produce for the better- ment of ourselves and others. We recommend that as all of us reenter the workplace and establish some normality, we employ the LOVE technique:
