RAISING CONCERNS
Preventive Suspension
Where an employee has a “Grave Offense” that his continued presence or service poses a serious and imminent threat to the life or property of the company, its agents, or of his coworkers, the company may decide to place him under “Preventive Suspension” up to a maximum period of thirty (30) days pending final resolution of the case. Employees subsequently found not guilty of the alleged offense shall be entitled to pay and other benefits during the period covered by the preventive suspension.
Additional Guidelines when Handling Disciplinary Cases
A Managers and supervisors are primarily responsible for the behavior of their subordinates. They have the obligation and duty to report the offenses committed by their subordinates and, in proper cases, to initiate or implement disciplinary action.
B Supervisors and managers should discipline erring employees in private, and explain the offense committed and the disciplinary action taken. Records of disciplinary actions are classified “Confidential” and must be strictly treated as such.
Relations to Law
These rules are not exhaustive. The company shall exercise its inherent right to discipline or dismiss employees for offenses or acts inimical to public morals or for serious violations of the laws of the Philippines.
Reparability Clause
The Company reserves the right to amend, alter, modify and/or change these Rules as the exigencies of the times warrant and upon proper notice and publication, such as amendments, alterations, modifications, and/or changes shall form part of these Rules.
