COMPANY AND PERSONAL INTERESTS
DESCRIPTION
We are committed to conduct ourselves with integrity in order to avoid conflicts of interest, either real or apparent.
A conflict of interest is any situation where our personal interests get in the way with the interests of the Company. We are responsible for avoiding financial, business or other relationships that might be opposed to the interests of the Company or might cause a conflict with the performance of our duties.
A conflict can arise when we make actions or we have interests that may make it difficult for us to perform Company related work objectively and effectively. Conflicts may also arise when we or a member of our family, receives improper personal benefits as a result of our position in the Company.
If you are unsure if a situation may be a possible conflict of interest, you must disclose it and ask advice from your immediate superior or manager.
EXPECTED WORKPLACE BEHAVIOR
As Focus Global employees, we must always make decisions and act in the best interests of the company by
Avoiding situations where personal relationships may influence how we make decisions
Ensuring that our personal transactions will not harm our company’s business interests
Always remaining impartial with our decisions towards clients, suppliers, and partners
To determine if a situation may be a potential conflict of interest, ask the following questions
Will my friends or family benefit from my involvement in this situation?
Is the situation causing me to put my own interests ahead of FGI’s interests?
Will participation in this outside activity interfere in my ability to do my job or make sound business decisions?
Will FGI’s image be negatively affected if this situation will become public knowledge?
