Dear Colleagues,

We are delighted to announce the successful teams that have made it to the next round of the 2020 1BLives
Venture Challenge. We would first like to thank all of you for your incredible support for the 1BLives Covid-19
Sprints and 1BLives Venture Challenge. It was an honour to see how SAP employees are stronger together to
solve the world’s biggest social problems and pressing social issues. We were thrilled to see high impactful
idea submissions from our region and the teams that have been selected to pitch at EMEA-North Demo Day on
16th July.

submission.

Congratulations to the following 5 teams who will move to the next step and pitch their idea in the EMEA N
Demo Day:

▪ Masks Makers Platform (Network of 3D-Printer): Engaging organizations with 3D-printers to help in
face mask production for healthcare workers.
o Team members: Juriaan Mulder, Mark Roeper.

▪ Zoi Marketplace: Digital platform to reduce e-waste by helping charities, NGO’s and schools to get access
to used electronics.
o Team members: Marco Valle, Nikos Aletras, Krishanu Bhattacharya, May Koh, Vivien Boche, and
Thais Araujo.
