 Used for hanging a bottle or other similar
 container of liquid.

 On board a ship, bottles of liquid—bottles of water, stove   lowing the container to be hung safely aside or carried
 fuel,  alcoholic  beverages—can  slip,  slide,  fall,  spill,  or   with greater ease. Asher’s bottle sling is credited to Dr.
 break open. This is one of several sling knots that grip   Harry Asher and first appeared in print in A New System of
 the  necks  of  containers,  glass  bottle  or  otherwise,  al-  Knotting, Volume 2, published in 1989.
