What is Happening in Today’s Market
Hello everyone. I hope this finds you and yours well. It’s hard to believe we are in the last quarter of 2020, but here we are. As always, we
have reflected upon the numbers from Q3 2020 as compared to Q3 2019, and the numbers are quite interesting. Despite what you may have
thought, more homes sold in Q3 2020 than in 2019. In fact, a whopping 33 1/3% more homes sold. This emphasized what a great time it is to
sell, as buyers are still very much ready to buy with low mortgage interest rates. The average and median sales prices were down from those
of last year. But one home was an exception to that rule and stood out in particular, 245 Saltair, The Golden Girls house, which sold for over
$1,000,000 more than the list price. Despite this whirlwind of a year, real estate has been exceptionally busy. Please don’t hesitate to reach
out to discuss market conditions and what they may mean for your next move.
