God’s Rose Who Dwelled Among Us
The rose who dwelled among us: Mother Daisy Lee Austin
God allowed her to have the strength of a stem. A
creation of a branch that allowed her to carry
the gospel of Jesus Christ in the image of the Rose
of Sharon. A woman who magnified the WORD by
her transparency, showed other women that
brokenness can become beauty when you
surrender yourself to a Wonderful Savior.
We see red as the color of love when we define the beauty of
a rose. Mother Austin saw red as the blood that was shed
for her on the cross and by way of God’s Love through
compassion, opened her bloom to reveal God’s Glory
and adorned the titles of Disciple and Servant.
Throughout her life, she exemplified the endurance of her
petals by embracing the 23rd division of Psalms and became
the living testimony of His Provision, Presence and Power.
I shall never forget Mothers’ beauty; radiant
with the Holy Spirit. She now lives in His
garden, the roses
of the redeemed. Her season as
His rose, fades away among us.
But the image of her life, is the
beauty etched in my heart
FOREVER…. Petal by Petal!
Your Loving Daughter,
