Climax
To avoid the marriage with Prabu Boko, Roro Jonggrang
devised a clever plan. She proposed a seemingly impossible
task to Prabu Boko: the construction of a thousand temples
within a single night. Intrigued by the challenge, Prabu Boko
accepted the condition, believing that with the help of
supernatural beings, he could accomplish the task.
Resolution
Roro Jonggrang, realizing the danger her village faced,
sought the assistance of the villagers. Together, they
devised a plan to trick Prabu Boko. When night fell, they set
fire to coconut leaves and pounded rice, creating the
illusion of a false dawn. The spirits and supernatural beings,
misled by the trickery, believed that morning had arrived
and abandoned the construction, leaving Prabu Boko's task
uncompleted.
Conclusion
As a result of Roro Jonggrang's cleverness, Prabu Boko's
plan was foiled, and he became enraged by the deception.
In his anger, he cursed Roro Jonggrang to become the last
temple among the unfinished thousand temples, creating
the famous Candi Roro Jonggrang in the Prambanan temple
complex.
