Roro Jonggrang, a beautiful princess of the region, found herself
pursued by Prabu Boko, the ruler of the neighboring Prambanan

Kingdom. However, Roro Jonggrang was reluctant to accept
Prabu Boko's proposal due to his reputation for cruelty and

misuse of power. Despite her rejection, Prabu Boko was
determined to make her his wife and threatened to attack Roro

Jonggrang's village if she continued to resist.
