2017 Annual Manager’s Meeting

December 11th @ the Macon Marriott

Macon, GA—This year’s annual DDS Manager’s Meeting was held December 11th at the Macon Marriott City Center
in Macon, Georgia. Following opening remarks by Deputy Commissioner Ricky Rich, Commissioner Spencer R.
Moore briefed the entire DDS Management TEAM on the State of the Agency, including updates about DDS’ three
most important strategic initiatives--the DDS/DOR DRIVES Project, the Card Production System (CPS) Project, and
the new DDS Mobile App (DDS 2 GO). A panel discussion and Q&A about the DRIVES Project followed, moderated
by DDS HR Director Deborah Moore, and featured Commissioner Moore, special guest DOR Commissioner Lynn
Riley, PMO Director Brett Young, and PM George Theobald. After lunch, DDS managers were treated to a truly
inspirational keynote address by Atlanta celebrity and veteran television journalist and broadcaster Monica
Kaufman Pearson. The day wrapped up with an assortment of team building exercises, facilitated by the DDS Human
Resources TEAM. It was a great day of learning and fellowship, looking to the future and celebrating our 2017
accomplishments.
