Thomasina Update For those of you that were asking for
an update on Thomasina the turkey
that was rescued from the DDS
parking lot, unfortunately she went
to turkey heaven. If you recall, she
had a hurt leg/foot and was limping
even before she went to the rescue
center.

The good news is that Thomasina
was able to see her eggs hatch into
six poults (baby turkeys). They
stayed at the rescue center and got
big and healthy. They were released
into the woods across from the
Conyers CSC so hopefully they’ll be
spotted soon!

Desk, who took the photo at left of
the poults at the conservancy. She
continues to be an activist for all
creatures big and small!
