Jared's Baby Back Ribs
INGREDIENTS:
•Rack of Baby Back Pork Ribs
•Cayenne Pepper
•Black Pepper
•Chipotle and Garlic Seasoning
•Large Aluminum Pan
•Aluminum Foil
MEAT RUB:
Combine 1 tablespoon of black pepper, and
chipotle & garlic seasoning, along with 1 ½
teaspoons of cayenne pepper in a small bow (
add or reduce the amount of cayenne pepper
depending on how spicy you prefer).
Jared enjoys cooking for family and friends like
Investigator Karen Brooks and her daughter.
Ready for the oven.
DIRECTIONS
1. Remove Ribs from package and rinse thoroughly.
2. Place ribs in the large aluminum pan for application of seasoning rub.
3. Apply the rub generously on the ribs. Work the rub in until the ribs are uniformly seasoned.
4. Once the rub is administered, cover the ribs with aluminum foil and place in the fridge for approx
imately 8 hours to marinate.
5. Remove ribs from fridge and preheat oven to 365 degrees.
6. Place the pan of ribs, uncovered, into the oven on the middle rack and cook for approximately 50
minutes to an hour with the meaty side up.
7. Remove ribs from the oven and drain any excess fluid from the pan, turn the ribs bone side up and
return to the oven for an additional 30 minutes or until the meat is done (NO PINK).
8. Utilize BBQ sauce of choice on the side. ( these ribs are fantastic without any sauce).
9. If desired, you can flip the ribs over and apply a thin application of BBQ sauce of your choosing during
the last 5 minutes of cooking.
