Regulatory Compliance Conducts
School Bus Driver Examiner Training Class

The CDL Compliance Unit conducted a School Bus Driver Examiner Training Class for the Georgia
Department of Education. This week-long class was hosted at McConnell Training Center in
Loganville.
CDL Analysts Adam Oglesbee, Josh Brader, and Vivian Groover conducted the class for 7 School Bus
Drivers from around the state to provide training to become a CDL examiner at their respective school
systems. Each day of class, there are assessments to ensure the prospective examiners are retaining the
material using the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators guidelines.
Once the prospective examiner successfully completes the class, they return to their School System, and
are monitored by their compliance analyst before being approved to administer skills tests on their own.
This process of having school systems test their own drivers reduces the number of skills tests at our CDL
customer service centers which frees up time and space for other CDL testing.
Once again DDS rises to the challenge!
