CDL Travels to WRAFB

DDS is partnering with Warner Robins Air Force Base
(WRAFB) to get Commercial Drivers on the Road!

The DDS CDL Travel Team recently spent a day on the

Base providing the skills test. Twelve CDLs were
issued on Base that day!

Under the direction of Governor Kemp, DDS has been
making it easier for Georgians to get a commercial

vehicle road test! The DDS Travel Team visits
commercial driver training schools and other business
partners to expedite commercial road tests to improve

the supply chain issues that our State has been
experiencing.

Travel Team tested a total of 16 individuals at Robins

AFB for their CDL skills test, Class B. Of the 16
individuals tested -- 14 were military veterans and two
were civilians.
Patrick O'Hanlon provides the

skills test at WRAFB. Upon completion of all tests a total of twelve
individuals received their Class B. All individuals who
passed their CDL skills test were issued their Interim
CDL at WRAFB with use of the DDS Mobile Unit.
