Human Trafficking Event
In June, the CDL Human Trafficking Education and Outreach Program made an appearance at the 58th
Annual Georgia Association for Pupil Transportation (GAPT) Summer Conference held in Jekyll Island, GA.
The CDL Department Human Trafficking Coordinator, Kayla Peeples, was an invited guest speaker to give a
presentation on human trafficking. Juenesse Holman, Deputy Director of Regulatory Compliance, partnered
with FMCSA to co-lead an ELDT requirements question and answer workshop.
This was DDS first time attending a GAPT Conference and hopefully a continued presence in the future!
