Motorcycle Safety Month Wrap Up
May was Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month and the Georgia Motorcycle Safety Program( GMSP) traveled through-
out Georgia to spread the “Share the Road” message and bring attention to motorcyclists’ awareness. The first stop
was the Taste of Spring Festival—an arts and crafts festival with a car show-- in Conyers, GA. The next stop was a
new place for GMSP in Alto, GA at the 4th Annual Lupus Ride; the ride raised over $10,000 and had over 100 motor-
cycle riders. To wrap up the month, GMSP headed northeast to the Lake Hartwell Music Festival.
Although May is dedicated to motorcycle safety, sharing the road with all motorists, and driving safely is a year-
round message! Thank you Kayla Peeples and the GMSP Team for getting out the message!
