Valdosta CSC Community
Outreach

The air was filled with excitement, hopes, dreams and some anxiousness. On July
31, 2019 the Valdosta CSC was honored to participate in Lowndes County High
School’s open house where CSC Manager Denise Smiley and TM Jackie Gaddis
met sophomore, juniors and seniors. Also, on August 5, both Smiley and TM
Crystal Miller participated in IGNITE 2023: 9th Grade Orientation and New LHS
Students in Grades 10-12. The Valdosta CSC representatives helped prepare the
students for an important milestone in their lives.

Americus CSC Outreach

On Monday, August 19, 2019, Assistant Manager Bessie Johnson-Smith, TM
Sharayba Perry and CSC Manager Elliot Stephens attended the Americus-
Sumter ninth grade academy during freshmen orienation. They were
greeted by the principal and was directed to set-up the DDS display right
at the doorway. They enjoyed providing 60 driver's manuals along with a
checklist of documents to bring for initial testing.
