Featuring Team Member and Guest Chef Dawn Scott
This new Scoop feature is the brainchild of Dawn Scott the Manager of the Albany CSC (pictured
above). As she mentioned to the Scoop, DDS is about the eats -- even more so when we were able to
get together pre-COVID.
Still it was a great idea, and Dawn has the perfect premier dish -- Italian Pasta Salad. If you want to
make it a main entree, Dawn suggests adding pepperoni, shrimp, diced ham or all three. Yummy!

How long have you been with DDS?
November 2020 made 15 Years.
If someone was surprising you with a home made or store bought treat to eat, what would it be?
Not too long ago, my husband surpised me with a crab boil. I LOVE crab legs!!!
Have you ever made homemade ice cream, perhaps if visiting Team Members came by?
I have my grandmother's recipe for homemade Peach Ice cream. Before the Pandemic my Mom and I
would go to the farmers market in Cordele and get fresh peaches to make it.
Fun Fact:
My son, husband and I love to fish!! We can't wait for nicer weather to go fishing and then have a fish fry.

Moore. She has been practicing her cooking and baking skills during the
Pandemic and is sure to have something great for us!
