7 Hills Park - Walkways
Problem
Some sections of the park’s brick walkways have subsided and created unsafe conditions The initial section of the walk near the T station is depressed to a a a a level that causes constant ponding leaving behind a a re- sidual muddy mess The oppo- site end of the path at at Meacham Street has subsided a a few inches below the adjacent sidewalks and presents a a a a tripping hazard Lastly the walk is is missing brick edging at at various locations along the path Solution
Affected sections of brick walk- ways
must be regraded and re- set to drain properly and avoid ponding Brick walks should be leveled at transition points to provide an an accessible path of travel Where bricks are missing they should be replaced 44
