The text has a social function to tell an experience or event that occurred in the past

The generic structure is: orientation, events, and re-orientation.
The grammatical patterns:
- Uses simple past tense, past continuous tense, past perfect tense;
- Uses sequence marker, such as first, second, then, after that, etc.
- Usually uses adjectives to show personal attitudes: wonderful, happy, curious, fun
