I also notice you have a lot of influences in sports. Do you have any favorite teams?
So my favorite teams are the Miami Heat and the Miami Dolphins.
I see, through your work that you truly like capturing every moment
Both subtle and impactful. While on set, when do you find the pivotal moment to film?
Sometimes when looking for the pivotal moment, you may need to be the one to create the moment. I used to
shoot a lot of events, and looking for moments is great, but getting people hyped to have fun is even better. When shooting events, including people to be part of the production, make them feel special and make them a key character. With that, you can add more interesting angles to your story. When it comes to shooting Narratives or Documentaries, I try to capture the personality with a person’s expression. How someone reacts to something or how you capture someone’s perception of something shows more than simply just capturing what’s happening, because as a filmmaker, what’s happening should be
just as important as how that person feels in what is happening. You get to be in the person’s shoes if you know what I mean.
