Thy Kingdom Come
Thy Kingdom Come is a prayer initiative held this year between 13th and the 23rd May. We have been given prayer journals for each of you to use, and there are some fun resources for the kids too. And for those of you with smart phones there is an app - TKC Prayer (or just search for Thy Kingdom Come and look for the cross/ circular logo.
The key aim for our prayers is to choose five (or more) people that you would like to see draw closer to God, or come to know God for the first time. For each day of the period you can simply pray for those five people, or use the resources to help inspire your prayers.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if, come 23rd May, we can already see answers to our prayers. We’re mindful too, that God has a wise and compassionate timetable that often doesn’t match ours, so we’ll try and wait patiently.
