CLUB SUCCESS
Eirias HC are proud to have three players who are part of the Hoci Cymru National Age Group squads this season: Nansi Roberts, Jacob Wilkinson and Daloni Roberts.
Jacob was selected to travel to Switzerland over Easter as part of the Wales Hockey 5s squad. Nansi has been selected to play in a test series against Canada in Cardiff over Easter weekend.
16 members of the club travelled down to Swansea during February half term to participate in the Hoci Cymru County Finals representing Eryri. There were four boys: Dominic Chamberlain, Ioan Powell, Teddy Nosworthy and Gethin Winfield. The boys came 4th having topped their group but lost in the semi-finals on penalty shuffles.
The U15 girls came second with 4 players involved from Eirias: Lily Copeland, Effi Jones, Ella Payne and Sophie Morris. The U17 girls were crowned champions with 8 club players involved: Beca Jones, Kira Cattell, Keira Luke, Fflur Pierce, Daisy Doodson, Izzy Furneaux, Charlotte Payne and
Martha Owen.
At junior club level, we have two teams going to Swansea to compete in the national finals - the U14 girls and the U12s boys.
To the other end of the age spectrum we have a number of players representing Wales in Masters Squads: Anthony Jeremy (O45s vice captain), Nel Dexter-Lowe (O45s),
Neil Baldwin (O55s), Jude Pyves (O55s), Dan Pigott (O60s).
