HWYLIO / SAILING
The 15-year old has been sailing in the ILCA class for the last 2 1/2 years and been a member of the Welsh IL CA squad through that time. Before that he sailed in an Optimist and briefly the Tera class.
The place at the Europeans championships comes for competing at the national qualifying events over the last year. Gethin also represented Wales at the National Junior Indoor Archery championships this December.
His younger brother Ieuan hopes to follow in his footsteps and has become a member of the Wales Tera development squad this winter.
