Changing of the Guard party. We are, as you will soon nd out, changing our KCRPCA website. That also makes this the perfect time to change the Der Sportwagen.
Maybe ‘change’ is too strong of a word. The Der Sportwagen is pretty good now. Heck, we won the Betty Jo Turner Best Overall Newsletter for 2015. (2016 has not been turned in yet). Maybe ‘refresh’ or ‘rebrand’ is a better term. One thing is for sure; we are extending the redesign of the KCRPCA website to the Der Sportwagen.
Co-branding both the Der Sportwagen
to PCA and KCRPCA as a whole. The elements also will feel familiar when going back and forth. They will tell the same story. They will give the same user experience.
There are also several elements of the website that needed to be changed and or added. PCA national has a check list of several items they like to see on all regional club websites. We want our website to include them all. We want our website to be recognized nationally. Now I am kidding. I want us to have the best website!
One thing about the Der Sportwagen that will not change is its content. We were singled out because of our content. We share stories of club member adventures and the joys of owning a Porsche. I need to thank all the members who submitted their stories last year. It is their memories, experiences and enthusiasm of Porsche ownership that helped us win best overall newsletter in 2015.
Submissions for 2016 are not open yet. I have to admit, I am kind of excited to enter again. With a great club submitting great content, I’m sure we will do great again.
