WHO KNEW CRAYONS FILL IN PAINT CHIPS PERFECTLY? WE DO NOW!
On a cold, rainy Saturday, more than two dozen members of KCRPCA were hosted by Midwest Tint. We were given a demonstration and technical details on the application of a clear bra to Mike Rehak’s yellow Cayman S. Also in the shop was the final product applied to Fabio De Andrade’s Cayman GT4.
There was a lot of interest from the group. Dustin Lasiter, the manager, graciously answered everyone’s questions. They ranged from material recommendations and best time to apply, to durability and repair. To be honest, I was

My biggest take-away was that your paint doesn’t have to be perfect to have a perfect final product; he uses crayons to make minor corrections.
concerned that he would not get to the demonstration because of the volume of questions. Fortunately, he was able to interact with the group while applying the clear bra. If nothing else, the distraction probably forced him to make a few mistakes that wouldn’t normally occur,
