curvy sections as well as roads past open farmland. It definitely was not the route your GPS would have selected. This makes you wonder how many roads the leaders drove to find the ones we actually used. No matter where we go, one of the most exciting parts is being on the road with several Porsches leading you over the next hill, while a glance in the mirror shows several more fol- lowing in turn.
The route continued north and west before turning back to the east and passing in front of the historic Leavenworth Federal Penitentiary and crossing the Missouri river and heading north again past Weston. Just a few more miles past Weston, we ar- rived at the Riverwood Winery. Our large group quickly filled the parking lot with Porsches.
