You find out more about the goings on during our weekly breakfast than you could ever imagine. I’m not the new guy going to breakfast, although as I talked to Chris last week he mentioned going to breakfast in 1976. It’s always great to see new members such as Van and Marci or Mark and Julie, only to name a few. I had a chance to talk to Test Drive member Jeremy
Mother Nature has been teasing us this spring by sprinkling in a warm day amongst a lot of not so warm days. Before long though, the cooler temps will give way to long summer days and plenty of driving time; Porsche driving time that is.
I look forward to getting up early on a warm sunny Saturday, figuring out which PCA shirt to wear and making the drive to the Kansas City Region’s breakfast venue. I am amazed at the amount of members that get up early to do the same. Do I have time for a tunnel run? It will only take a few minutes longer.
I see a shiny Porsche on my way and know where that driver is heading. Standing in the parking lot is a visual and aural delight. You can hear the Porsche exhausts a few blocks away as you guess who’s rolling in next. Some of the exhausts are so distinctive that
you don’t have to guess, you just know. Will a new Porsche roll into the parking lot? Probably. Nothing stops a conversation quicker, gets everyone’s head to turn, than a new Porsche rolling in. Will a long standing member roll in this morning after taking the winter off in a warmer climate? Probably. Is the next new modification
