As Membership Chair, I would like to introduce this month’s feature member Matt MacGregor.
2014....I think...could be a year earlier and I just wasn’t active...sad I don’t know that information isn’t it?
6. What makes your car special?
A few things make it special to me. The car was built the year I turned 16; it was a gift from my father, and there are several things about the 1986 car that are unique across all years. The V8 engine in 1986 is the  rst year of the 32 valve and was built very strong and then de- tuned to avoid engine knock..the engine control system did not have knock sensors. An individual learned how to write assembler language and spent years optimizing the car and  nding the power Porsche hid inside it..he offers chips and I have the bene t of all those years of tuning in my car as a starting point for where I am taking mine.
The car is in the process of getting a full exhaust, starting with ceramic coated headers. At the same time a special O2 sensor and AFR control will allow

1986 (early ‘86) 928S 5 speed.
3. Where are you from?
Originally from Kansas City, but have lived much of my life in the southeast and went to college there.
Just me, the car and the dog. Parents are rattling around close by and never hesitate to remind me of that when it suits them.
