stalled in the race car, then the seat in- stalled to the mounts. There is a spe- cific reason I do the build in this order. If you assemble the seat to the sliders and mounts outside of the car, it is often very difficult to get the mounting holes lined up in the floor correctly. There is always a bit of tension in these setups, which makes lining up the holes difficult in some cases, and that opens opportu- nity to strip the mount holes in the floor. If that happens, you have a very big ex- pensive repair on your hands. Mount as much of it loose as you can, then tight- ening things up as needed.
