September 9th was very quickly becoming a per- fect day. A gentle afternoon breeze, mild temperatures and sun- shine, and starting around 3:30 pm, it became even better. I was about to head out for an afternoon drive with my lovely wife in the Porsche. This afternoon’s destination was the Rand’s estate in Blue Springs for KCRPCA’s Oktoberfest celebration.
