5WHAT LINE OF WORK ARE YOU IN?
I was in higher education most
of my professional career. I spent over 42 years as a professor and university administrator. I worked at 9 different universities and retired in 2014 as President of Eastern Washington University. I worked
at the University of Michigan, University of Texas, Austin,
three California State University campuses and at Fort Hays State in Kansas.
6WHAT’S BEST ABOUT YOUR PORSCHE?
I have always enjoyed how the car handles on the road and its ability on the corners. That is why I bought my first Porsche in 1973 and have not parted with it. The power and performance of my 2014 is amazing. After owning my 73 for 49 years,
it is still performing like the early years.
7DID YOU PERSONALIZE YOUR CAR?
I have kept both my cars just as they came from the factory.

My 73 is going in for an engine make over, due to increasing oil leaks and replacement of old gasoline and oil lines.

10ANY FUN CARS GROWING UP?
My first car was a 1957 Mercury two door hardtop that my older brother gave me. I have also owned many other fun cars, like my 1969 GTO. I enjoyed running down a Camaro or two. I had a very fast 1989 Mercedes 560 SL black on black that I wish I still had. There
